Smartling Guidelines: How to exclude something from translation

This guideline describes how to disable a translation for the webpage which has already been translated via Smartling.

⚠️Applicable for GDN-type projects.

Steps:

  1. Login to smartling console from the website:

  2. Open the corresponding project in the top navbar

  3. Open the "Strings" tab

  4. Input the URL that should be left without translation:

  5. Select the checkmark near "Source String", click "Select all matching current filter", click "Actions", select "Exclude". Confirm the action in the appearing modal window.

  6. Open the corresponding webpage, refresh it, clear the cache.
